Caring for your Jewellery

Thank you for choosing my work. Please take note of my care tips below to maximise your jewellery’s longevity and appearance;

Clean your jewellery by washing in warm soapy water using a mild standard detergent like washing up liquid. Remove build up of dirt of grease with a soft toothbrush or similar, and rinse thoroughly. Blow dry carefully on a low heat and finally with a soft cloth to buff.

Please avoid any strong cleaning substances such as acetone, silver cleaning solutions or dips, or cleaning sprays.

A silver cloth may be good for gently rubbing over metallic elements but avoid polishing any acrylic surface with these.

Do not polish oxidised silver (blackened silver) pieces. These may change appearance with time and wear. Oxidisation is a surface treatment to the metal and can scratch. Pieces can be re-oxidised upon request.

I can offer advice or a cleaning and rejuvenating service where needed. Just get in touch!

Please store piece flat in a box away from direct sunlight when not being worn.
